It was an absolute pleasure to take students from Carisbrooke College and Medina College to see a fantastic production of Wicked at Mayflower Theatre, Southampton.
Wicked is one of the set works covered in our GCSE specification and it was an amazing experience to see the students taking such a big interest in Musical Theatre. It was evident that the students enjoyed themselves just by the energy in the interval after Act I’s Finale, Defying Gravity.
The students were extremely respectful both in and outside of the theatre and I can’t wait to hopefully put on a similar trip in the new academic year. Thank you so much to Mrs Peckham and Mrs O’Callaghan for assisting! – Mr Winsor (Trip Leader)
